By creating an account or using TTRPG Terminal Simulator (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The Service provides a customizable, shareable "terminal" interface. You may create terminals and configure them with interactive elements including: buttons that play audio or video files, display images, or trigger animations; information panels; interactive doors and keypads; maps; password-protected panels; and optional embedded content (YouTube videos and Google Docs/Sheets). You may upload media files (audio, video, images) to your Media Library for use across your terminals, and share access with operators by email address.
3. Accounts and Security
You must provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account credentials.
We strongly recommend enabling multi‑factor authentication (MFA) via authenticator app (TOTP) or SMS.
Keep recovery codes private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
We may use reCAPTCHA to protect sign‑up and SMS MFA flows from abuse.
4. User Content and Sharing
You retain ownership of the content you add to your terminals.
You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service.
You are responsible for the content you share and for obtaining rights to use any third‑party content (including YouTube/Google Docs links and materials).
You control who can access your terminals. You may revoke access at any time.
Do not upload or link to content that is illegal, infringing, or violates these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
No unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
No attempts to bypass or defeat security (including MFA and reCAPTCHA).
No unauthorized access to other users’ content or data.
No spam or automated scraping of the Service.
6. Plans and Billing
Paid plans and limits are described in the app. Stripe processes payments. We do not store full card data.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Manage your subscription through the app’s Billing Portal.
Plan changes (upgrade/downgrade) take effect according to Stripe’s terms shown at checkout.
Unless required by law, fees are non‑refundable except where explicitly stated during checkout or in the Billing Portal. You can cancel future renewals at any time from the Billing Portal.
Subscription plans provide access to features as described. Plans are provided "as is," may change or end at any time, and may include feature gates, usage limits, or access revocation.
New accounts may include a 14-day free trial for eligible paid features. At the end of the trial, paid features require an active subscription.
7. Third‑Party Services
The Service integrates with third‑party providers:
Firebase (Auth/Firestore/Cloud Functions/reCAPTCHA) to operate authentication, data, and security.
Firebase Analytics (production only) to measure feature usage and product performance.
Stripe to process subscriptions and payments.
Resend to send account, system, and support emails.
Sentry for error monitoring, performance data, and privacy‑preserving session replay to diagnose production issues.
YouTube and Google Docs/Sheets for optional embedded content you choose to display.
Your use of these services is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third‑party content or services.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your terminals. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing).
For free or canceled accounts, we may automatically delete accounts and associated content after 30 days of inactivity. We may adjust this inactivity period in the future by updating these Terms or providing notice in the app.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms; we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, when appropriate, provide notice in the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
